Vision reference platform for the VDFPGA and HDCAM
VDCAM v2.17
The VDFPGA Camera Reference Design is a full-featured set of FPGA logic, soft microprocessor programs, and client-side Linux GUI tools.
It is permanently available under a GNU GPL v3 license and, if this license is not suitable for your specific needs, a relicensing option is also available.

The reference design is highly modular, and comes with the ability to:
* Utilize single or multiple color cameras at framerates of over 10 FPS
* Easily modify the image processing chain
* Display on- or off-line processing results on a connected Linux computer over Ethernet
* Control operation of system and upload test images via the connected Linux computer
* Use multiple FPGAs in a pipelined structure to increase overall system processing bandwidth

The reference design includes the following example image processing modules:
* Gaussian blur
* Image downsizing
* Color inversion via high speed block processing

Documentation on how to create your own image processing module is also included.
Raptor Engineering recommends the Falcon Sequencer for the ultimate ease in modifying the image processing chain.

The VDFPGA Reference Design is compliant with version 1.0a of the VDCAM Bus Specification.
